What we collect

Civico works without an account. Your progress, the questions you missed, your language and your test (2025 or 2008) stay in your browser's local storage on your device.

We count anonymous events so we know what works: page views, quiz starts, the first and tenth free answer, views of the Pass Pack offer, taps on the Pass Pack button, mock interviews started and how many you got right, practice runs started, opening the word lists, the test you picked, and the short tag of the link that brought you (for example short-2025 from one of our videos). These counts carry no name, email, IP address or device ID.

Payments

If you buy the Pass Pack, Stripe processes the payment. We receive the checkout session to confirm the payment and unlock your device. The checkout carries the same link tag, so we know which link led to a purchase. We do not see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.

Sharing

We do not sell or share personal information. Our host (Cloudflare) and payment processor (Stripe) process data only to run the service.

Children

Civico is a study tool for adults preparing for the naturalization interview. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Clearing your browser's site data removes everything Civico stored on your device.
